Food misinformation: are we all goats?
Okay, it was a survey conducted by Nestlé . And that’s okay, with a sample of 1200 people who went to the expo and had to answer the questions in the Swiss pavilion, men and women aged 20 to 60.
The questions concerned food and nutrition but it seems that most of the interviewees answered at random, without any knowledge of the basics of proper nutrition . Possible? From the readers of my site and on my fb page I have always believed that people were on average informed about proper nutrition.
Here I will simplify the questions that were asked on the occasion of Feed your mind, the Nestlé initiative which, born as a training course, contemplated this survey to understand how well Italians were informed about food.
The result? Failed.
