Food labels, dangerous ingredients
It would be enough to read the food labels better to improve our nutrition , our digestion and our metabolism and finally lose weight. Yes. If we were more careful about what we put in the cart we could be thinner, while any wrong choice can contribute to making us fat, intoxicating us without realizing it. According to the Huffington Post , which has published a list of ingredients that the American nutritionist and naturopath Danielle Felip indicates as dangerous for our health, there are 10 substances that, if we find on food labels, must encourage us not to buy certain foods. Let’s see them together.
NO INGREDIENTS IN FOOD LABELS
1) Artificial dyes:Â or partially natural, they are widely used throughout the industry, especially confectionery, but cause brain hyperactivity, migraines, slow metabolism.Â
2) Double zero flour, bleached: it is flour with a bleaching agent, a non-food that is found everywhere in baked goods but has practically no nutrients. In addition, the whitening agent is potentially toxic.Â
3) Glucose-fructose syrup: it is a sweetening syrup, linked to the metabolic syndrome, liver poisoning and the risk of developing neoplasms. We find it in desserts, baked goods, including savory ones, sausages and cured meats, soups and ready meals.Â
4) Artificial sweeteners / sweeteners:Â linked to the metabolic syndrome and the development of migraines, they are obesogenic agents.
5) BÂ utilidrossitoluene or E321:Â additive used to prevent fats from going rancid, causing food allergies
6) Partially hydrogenated oil: or partial fats. hydrogenated, they are typical of baked goods, cake mixes and industrial margarines or creams. They poison the body, which is difficult to get rid of, and are related to bad cholesterol and cardiovascular disease.Â
7) Monosodium Glutamate: found in many convenience foods and in many fast food foods. It causes brain hyperactivity and apathy.Â
8) Nitrates and sodium nitrites:substances found in cured meats and processed meats seem to increase the risk of diabetes, colorectal cancer and in general worsen the way our body metabolizes sugars.Â
9) Sodium benzoate: preservative used in jams, soups and drinks or juices to avoid bacterial proliferation. Indirectly it is an obesogenic agent: it undermines our digestion and above all it weakens the immune system.Â
10) Sulphites: they are additives used to better preserve food and maintain its color. For example in canned foods or canned foods. They cause allergic reactions and sweating.
