Fast digestion, here are the tricks
One of the reasons why we get fat is that when we eat a part of the weight given by the food it remains as if it were stuck in our body, it is not eliminated: if we digested everything we ate quickly and well, excreting it completely, in all probability we would be very thin ! It is something I have noticed in many people with fast metabolisms: do they eat too much? They go to the bathroom three times instead of once, and in the end they look flatter than when they were at the table.
It sounds unbelievable, yet good digestion is at the root of our extra pounds or healthy weight. If we knew how to digest what we eat effectively and quickly, we would lose weight much more easily, and above all it would not be so difficult for us to work off a heavy meal. There are those who feel the weight of a pizza with friends even for three or four days. Maybe it happened to you too. Heavy dinner? Two kilos given away between bloating, food on the stomach and heaviness. It is true that much of that weight will be shed days later, but if there was a way to have a faster and more efficient digestion, even the most caloric meal would no longer be a problem. Well, this way there is, it exists. Indeed, there is not only one: there are several tricks to have a fast digestion.
Here are a few.
TRICKS TO HAVE A FASTER DIGESTION (EVEN AFTER HEAVY MEALS)
– Start the meal with raw vegetables:crudités are a great way to equip our intestines with efficient scavengers.
– Avoid drinking too much during meals:Â thinning the intestinal acids with a greater intake of water makes digestion slower and causes the water drunk to remain somehow trapped, difficult to dispose of in pee.
– Avoid eating too much fruit at the end of a meal: fruit and sweets at the end of a meal are the grave of our digestion. Same thing for the liqueurs.
–Â Drink half a glass of grapefruit juice, or water acidulated with lemon or apple cider vinegar:this allows us to dispose of food more easily.
– No to limoncello, yes to bitter: bitter, especially gentian, favors the digestion of heavy foods.
–Â Drinking a coffee half an hour after a meal:Â same reason
– Drinking very far from meals: drinking a lot between meals allows us to increase intestinal regularity and fight water retention. Especially recommended if we ate heavy.
– Walking: walking is a way to digest very quickly and has no contraindications. Absolutely recommended.
– Drink a cup of peppermint tea or green tea one hour after a meal : these types of tea improve digestion.
