Draining smoothies: Martha Stewart’s strawberry smoothie

A recipe taken from the site of the famous Martha Stewart, one of the draining smoothies that I love to drink when it’s strawberry season, but which can be done alternatively with blueberries or raspberries. It is a strawberry smoothie that is perfect for breakfast, because it is a complete meal and makes us full of fruit and vitamins in the first part of the day. Starting the day with such a meal helps our metabolism, reduces stress that is high in the morning, and provides us with good, natural sugars, hence quality carbohydrates. Here is the recipe, very simple .

DRAINING SMOOTHIES: THE STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE
200 gr of strawberries kept in the freezer for about three quarters of an hour (or frozen)
100 gr of silky or velvety tofu (you can find it from the bio, otherwise: 50 gr of natural tofu)
cinnamon powder a sprinkle (optional)
100 ml of organic
stevia apple juice, a pinch (optional)

To be combined with an egg white omelette or a Greek yogurt with a teaspoon of honey for a 250/300 calorie breakfast
complete with everything and deflating.
We can also drink it as an afternoon snack , of course: it is one of the simplest draining smoothies you can find, because it combines the detoxifying action of apple juice (hypoglycemic, regularizing, digestive, removes nervous hunger) with the diuretic and anti-cellulite action of strawberries. Furthermore, this drink is rich in antioxidants.
The extra idea: if you want to increase the antioxidant action, add a teaspoon of matcha tea powder or açai berry powder.
