DocFoody, the new home diet

It’s called DocFoody, and it’s a new home diet program designed to make those who have little time to take care of their diet lose weight, but would like to eat healthily and lose weight.
Born from the DietaDoc service, Docfoody is its renewed version.

The menus are developed by a team of nutritionists and dieticians, including the name of Dr. Gianfranco Zippo, creator of the project, of Dr. Sukkar and the CRO of Aviano Cancer Reference Center among the consultants.

In this article we see how the new DocFoody diet works in detail.

DOCFOODY IS COMING, THE NEW DIET AT HOME

DocFoody aims to offer menus for those suffering from overweight, obesity, hyperinsulinemia, high cholesterol.
At the basis of the project, the idea of offering traditional dishes of Mediterranean culture in a new guise, choosing between two proposals for a Mediterranean menu, a proposal for an Eastern Mediterranean menu, one for a Mediterranean menu with superfoods.

DocFoody is therefore an interesting home diet program that offers, in addition to these menus, the possibility of having personalized courses with ad hoc menus.

Each dish has been cooked with the vacuum method, and offers traditional recipes (parmigiana, meatballs) revisited in a lighter key, for example with the use of lean meats and whole foods.

Among the dishes : lasagna with radicchio, couscous with pesto, eggplant parmigiana, chicken curry and goulash.
In total, the diet provides a maximum of 1650 calories, of which 900 are the fixed ones for lunch + dinner. The remaining calories must be optimized according to the subject.

Each menu contains six lunches, six dinners and suggestions for breakfast and snacks: all in a low-calorie but healthy and balanced diet. One day a week is free and you can eat whatever you want.

Each dish can then be reheated in the microwave, in a double boiler, in a pan or in the oven.

DOCFOODY, WHO IT’S SUITABLE FOR

Docfoody is designed for those who cannot cook healthy meals, for those who do not like to cook and end up eating only ready meals or take-away and in general for all those who want to be guided in their diet with a meal-by-meal control. Half an hour of physical activity of your choice is recommended next to the menu.

From week to week, you lose weight with a correct and balanced diet that allows you to not give up anything.

The dishes are designed to meet three main requirements: reduced glycemic load thanks to the use of foods with a low glycemic index; reduction of saturated fats; use of superfoods, such as spices and fish rich in omega3. All in a low-calorie regime.

Obviously, nothing should be added to the dishes: neither oil nor anything else.
What you need to do is follow the recommendations for breakfast and snacks. For each dish there is also the possibility to click on change and have a second option.

The menus are divided by days: therefore on Monday you will have Monday meals, and you cannot change them with those of the other days.

Given the ability to heat up even in the microwave, they can be brought to work, as each package is sealed and vacuum-packed.

The price per menu, which we have seen to be six days with twelve dishes in all and 4 menus to choose from, is 124 euros per week. You can choose to try them even for a week. The more weeks you choose, the more the price is discounted.
