Do tryptophan d6 and melatonin 4ch have plant origin?
They prescribed these homeopathic remedies for me. I would like to know if they have plant or animal origin. In the latter case, from which parts of the animal do they come? Thank you.

melatonin is a hormone located by the epiphysis, when it is used as a drug it is synthesized in the laboratory, it serves to regulate sleep and circadian rhythms, tryptophan, is an amino acid that our body is unable to synthesize is found in many foods such as chocolate (considered a natural antidepressant) for example, is the precursor of serotonin, the “good mood” hormone, in fact in depressed patients, the levels of this hormone are low and drugs are administered that prevent reabsorption, thus raising the its concentration
