The announcement that the company has acquired Elgato Gaming , one of the most important brands when it comes to game streaming, comes from the Corsair  Twitter profile . Apparently the manufacturer of PC components is well aware of the importance of the gaming market, and intends to take advantage of Elgato  ‘s experience in the manufacture of capture cards. However, the home business division of the latter remained out of the agreement and will be called Eve Systems from now on.

We still don’t know if the two companies will join efforts to create new accessories, or if there will be price changes on their products in the future. For the moment Corsair has however included the Elgato  price list on its website.
