Acer unveiled its first Chromebooks on Saturdays on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c platform : these are the Chromebook Spin 513 (CP513-1H / CP513-1HL) and Chromebook Enterprise Spin 513 models . The new models are characterized by an ultra-portable design and by their fast and efficient performance, with high autonomy and optional 4G LTE connectivity. Additionally, Acer unveiled the Chromebox CX14 and the Acer Halo Smart Speaker .

Acer Chromebook Spin 513

Acer Chromebook Spin 513 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7c platform with Qualcomm Kryo 468 8nm octa-core CPU that ensures excellent multitasking performance, with improved system responsiveness. The excellent quality of graphics performance is ensured by the integrated Qualcomm Adreno 618 graphics , particularly suitable for playing online and streaming video. The autonomy is equal to 14 hours, thus ensuring operation for a whole day of work or study. 4G LTE connectivity is optional and ensures users can access the Internet without worrying about the Wi-Fi connection. Wi-Fi connectivity is still present and is 802.11ac type with 2 × 2 MIMO technology.

Acer also unveiled the Chromebox CX14 which turns out to be a compact solution with multiple connectivity options ; a great choice for labs and classrooms, for families and small businesses. The new Chromebox can be purchased with the Chrome Enterprise Upgrade. The CX14’s design saves space by including everything needed to deliver a fast and powerful Chrome experience . This computer is equipped with Intel Core i7 up to 10th generation processor. Chromebox CXI4 is equipped with all the ports needed to connect to multiple displays and peripherals. It has up to five USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, plus one USB 3.2 Type-C and two HDMI ports . The device also hasIntel Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and an RJ45 port for fast internet connection, both wired and wireless. Chromebox CXI4 installation is simple: it can be attached to the back of a monitor using the optional VESA mounting kit , or positioned independently and secured with a Kensington lock.

Acer Halo Smart Speaker

Finally, the new Acer Halo Smart Speaker is presented as an elegant and customizable device , designed to integrate or stand out in any environment. The compact size allows you to place it anywhere. Acer Halo Smart Speaker is equipped with customizable RGB lighting and is able to synchronize with the music to create the right mood. As one of the first Google Assistant compatible smart speakers to feature DTS sound , Smart Speaker Halo delivers rich, high-quality sound, spread across 360 degrees. An optional LED display allows you to check the time or get information about the weather and Google Assistant is integrated: with a simple “Hey Google ”Halo will activate to play music, podcasts, news and will be able to answer specific questions from the user.
