Bloating belly: how to reduce it during the holidays?

Whether it’s Christmas or Easter, the week of August holidays or any other period in which you allow yourself to eat more, two things will upset your eating serenity.
The guilt of being gaining weight, of the series “oh my God, who knows the scale …” and the swelling of the belly during the lucullian meals of the terrible parties.

On the sense of guilt I tell you only: do not weigh yourself and do not think about it.
Live the holidays quietly.

On the swelling of the belly, however, there are a series of measures that experts recommend to reduce the phenomenon, so that you can eat without that sense of heaviness that physically translates into gas and for some constipation.

Some of these tricks for belly bloat from terrible parties are enlightening, and don’t require an effort of will or cut back on portions.

SWELLING BELLY: ADVICE FROM THE EXPERTS *

* (by dietician Angela Dowden, personal trainer Ramona Barganza and Liz Brewer)  1) Avoid drinking a lot and eating a lot at the same time . This will lengthen digestion times, so not only avoid drinking too much alcohol if you are enjoying a set table (two glasses are ok for men, one for women, dry wine better than beer), but avoid drinking plenty of water even just before or after, in the hope of filling you up and not eating. Drink between meals.
