Avocado and coconut ice cream without ice cream maker

Avocado and coconut ice cream without ice cream maker

An absolutely natural ice cream, an ice cream without ice cream parlors, an ice cream that does not require operations with the freezer to have an excellent texture: it has the fact that it is as caloric as artisanal ice cream, but it has a low glycemic index, it is delicious and fragrant and is full of healthy fats.
This is avocado and coconut ice cream which, having a greasy texture, does not turn into ice crystals in the freezer and does not require an ice cream maker.
How to do it? I first saw it on Dr. Oz’s website and searched the net for other variations, but his is the simplest.
Here is the recipe and the calories.

Avocado and coconut ice cream.
Dose for about 700 grams
the pulp of 3 traditional avocados (about 450/500 gr) – Kcal 800
160 gr of coconut milk – Kcal 370 about
60 grams of honey – Kcal 181
a tablespoon of lemon juice or lime
lemon zest optional

Blend all the ingredients in a blender, making sure that the avocado pulp is perfectly pureed .
Pour the mixture into a liter pan and put it in the freezer until it solidifies (about 4-5 hours). Before serving, keep it out for five minutes. The game is done. The ice cream without ice cream maker with these magical ingredients is creamy all the same without making additional operations. Let’s see the calories. Having rounded up, the calories are 190 per 100 grams of ice cream. The same as a chocolate ice cream or an artisanal cream ice cream. So count 7 servings. If we want vegan ice cream, we can replace honey with agave or yacon syrup.

If we want to reduce the calories, we can reduce the honey to 20 grams and add as much stevia as needed to make the mixture sweet or just stevia. In this way the calories are reduced to about 165 per serving. Using stevia the ice cream is also low-carb and keto.
