Ahead of Computex 2019 in Taipei , Acer announces that the Nitro 5 gaming notebook and ultra-thin Swift 3 support 2nd Gen AMD RyzenTM Mobile processors with RadeonTM Vega GPU , to deliver processing power and efficiency as well as stunning graphics to support streaming and games.

Nitro 5 with Ryzen for high-level gaming

The Nitro 5 with 2nd Gen AMD RyzenTM 7 3750H processor and Radeon RX 560X graphics guarantees exceptional performance. Thanks to the new AMD technology , users will be able to count on amazing images and excellent performance. Nitro 5 allows users to play their favorite games while enjoying exceptional detail thanks to the 15.6 “IPS Full HD1 or 15.6” IPS FHD 144Hz displays with an impressive 80 percent screen-to-chassis ratio. Nitro 5 also transmits gameplay with great efficiency thanks to Gigabit Wi-Fi 5 connectivity with 2 × 2 MU-MIMO technology. The allocation of ports, which includes HDMI 2.0, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbps),allows you to connect all the accessories you want . Nitro 5 comes with two fans, Acer CoolBoostTM technology and a dual ventilation grill, designed to keep the notebook cool even during prolonged gaming sessions. CoolBoost increases fan rotation speed by 10 percent, and CPU and GPU cooling by 9 percent compared to automatic mode.

Proprietary Acer Network Optimizer technology optimizes online gameplay and keeps the data stream flowing and stable. An intuitive and easy-to-use GUI (Graphic User Interface) helps users configure and manage bandwidth in both Auto Mode, classifying and prioritizing programs to eliminate network problems, and Manual Mode, allowing users to adjust priorities from time to time, change the bandwidth available to individual applications, and even block particular software to get the best network experience.

Swift 3 with Ryzen for limitless productivity

Featuring AMD RyzenTM 7 3700U processors with Radeon Vega graphics, the Swift 3 notebook delivers the power and efficiency you need to get work done quickly and smoothly. With optional dedicated Radeon 540X graphics, customers have the performance they need for more demanding tasks, such as video editing and casual gaming. Swift 3 comes with a 14 ″ FHD IPS display with thin bezels, an elegant aluminum design that allows you to open the lid up to 180 degrees for maximum flexibility and the latest technologies in processing and connectivity. The whole thing is packed in a super light 1.45kg chassis with a thickness of just 17.95mm. The new Nitro 5 and Swift 3 notebookswith second-generation AMD Ryzen Mobile processors will be on display at Acer showcase at Xinyi Plaza, Xiangti Avenue Plaza in Taipei, from May 28 to June 2, 2019.

Prices and availability

The Nitro 5 with 15 ″ Full HD IPS screen will be available from July with prices starting from 799 euros.
The Acer Swift 3 with a 14 ″ FHD IPS screen will be available from mid-August with prices starting at
