What diet to follow in case of pelvic and intestinal endometriosis, hypercholesteronemia and autoimmune thyroiditis?
Hello, I would like to know which foods to avoid in case of pelvic and intestinal endometriosis with compression of the sacral plexus, which causes pain and constipation . I also have hypothyroidism treated with eutirox 125 mcg per day, for autoimmune thyroiditis from thyroid lobe agenesis from birth. I have important constipation related to endometriosis, I have hypercholesteronemia and chronic gastritis . Is there anyone who can help me understand which foods to prefer and avoid or set a diet even better ?! The hormone therapy by mouth and the analog under the skin to be done monthly have made me take 5 kg since January, water retention ?! I’m waiting for news. Thank you. Teresa

Good morning Teresa, her problems are really many but in broad terms she should eliminate inflammatory foods such as dairy products and reduce meats along with refined cereals from her diet. For hypothyroidism we do not recommend the use of soy, wheat, corn and crucifers (broccoli and cabbage ..) Help with magnesium for constipation by accompanying a visceral massage that you can also do alone and a few sessions of colon hydrotherapy and maneuvers practiced by a massophysiokinesis therapist can certainly give you a good help. Do not underestimate physical exercise and slow, deep breathing which is a good massage for the internal organs including the intestine. Best regards and let me know Cinzia Zedda naturopath expert in natural nutrition

Hello, given the related components it is necessary that you follow the Naturopathic path of help and support. as far as nutrition is concerned, the elimination of gluten and dairy products (all milk and cheese!) is essential, and there are some nutritional antagonistic foods that should be avoided because they slow down the thyroid hormones are Cabbage, Cauliflower, broccoli, mustard, soy. the foods favoring the thyroid gland are spinach, rhubarb, beets, create them whole and gluten-free (rice int. buckwheat, millet, quinoa, amaranth), herbs etc … However, you will find a good therapist who can follow you. regards

You may want to consider eliminating gluten from your diet and / or inquire about your blood type diet. I also recommend a Magnesium supplement such as Magnesium Supreme or similar. Kind regards
