WHATSAPP WENT OFFLINE ON MARCH 19TH, ALL CHATS STOPPED

WhatSapp, the most used messaging app, is currently offline, and it is not possible to use chats even for simple messages of

From about 6:30 pm on March 19th , WhatsApp is offline for all Italian users. The reports arrive for both Android and iOS systems , and it seems that it is not the only inability to send generic media, because even the text messages are completely stopped.

Both on WhatsApp  Web and on the classic phone app, any message sent does not currently arrive at the passage of the two classic gray ticks, which are replaced by a clock icon. Surely the Facebook team is working to solve the problem, we will update you in real time as soon as the situation is resolved thanks to the intervention of the company ‘s technical team .

The well-known messaging app used by practically everyone, and available since 2009 (over 10 years) is generally stable, and such problems are, to be honest, quite sporadic. However, as mentioned at the beginning, it happened that some functions were blocked for short periods of time in chats, especially as regards the sending of audio messages, photos, videos and various files.

However, it seems that this time WhatsApp is offline due to a probable server problem, since it is completely impossible to interact with other users; of course, audio and video calls are also blocked , for which you will have to temporarily rely on other programs).

As found also in this case by many users, even Instagram is completely blocked , both in its mobile version and on the web. We just have to wait for a resolution from Facebook, which manages both platforms, and will take care of restoring the services as soon as possible.

Update: Both services were reset at around 7:08 pm , and it doesn’t look like there will be more problems in the next few hours for both Instagram and Whatsapp. It was therefore a disservice that lasted only about forty minutes, which, however, certainly caused annoyance to the regular users of both platforms.
