Does fenugreek make you lose weight or make you fat?
Ever since Dr. Oz spoke in a broadcast of fenugreek (trigonella)  to reduce hunger pangs , lower blood cholesterol levels and lower blood sugar , the myth of fenugreek as a secret to weight loss has been reasserted . If you break the news like this, I understand why so many people criticize Dr. Oz!
In reality, even if it is true that fenugreek lowers the levels of lipids and carbohydrates in the blood , a plant born as a mash for animals and given as a tonic for people with a frail constitution or for the sick certainly cannot make people lose weight. Yet there are still skeptics and doubters who regularly ask themselves if it makes you lose weight.
Of course, if we think that these seeds (similar in appearance to a chopped hazelnut), which we can drink in decoction (normally they are used in curries, then we can find them in those markets where there is the oriental spice counter, or at an apothecary, as well as in some herbal medicine), can lower blood sugar due to the high fiber content (so we should eat the seeds!), it means that they prevent us from gaining weight due to insulin . Their slimming power ends here, and it is modest if you think about its restorative potential: fenugreek in fact stimulates the appetite, therefore it naturally makes you very hungry .; has the same calories as a legume; it is excellent for those who want to gain muscle mass due to its anabolic effect, and in women, having galactogenic properties, it stimulates the production of the mammary glands and their volume, so many people are convinced that it is a natural breast plumper. Highly not recommended in pregnancy, fenugreek is suitable for those people who have to put on weight : it makes you eat more, it tends to make you gain mass, that is, to strengthen, it is recommended instead of royal jelly.
Or do you think that royal jelly also makes you lose weight?
