Does rice in the diet make you lose weight?
According to a study published on the website “Food and Nutrition Sciences”, a regular consumption of rice in the diet would lead to weight loss. In fact, it seems that in the American population taken as a sample, of more than fourteen thousand people monitored for about five years in a row, those who ate more rice in their diet tended to be leaner and naturally consume more fruit and vegetables.
The author of the study, a doctor from Baylor College, explained that more rice consumption leads to eating less fatty foods and at the same time increasing the diet of vitamins and minerals.
