Young Zone pasta with turmeric and mushroom sauce
Today I’m talking about a line of functional foods called Pasta Young : four different lines of pasta designed to lose weight, stay fit, support yourself in view of particular physical and dietary goals. For example, if we follow a particular diet, there are Pasta Young lines designed to make it easier for us.
Those who follow the zone diet or certain types of flexible diets can, for example, take advantage of two Pasta Young products developed by the company to fall within the distribution of macronutrients 40/30/30. This kind of breakdown is perfect for those who play sports and want to define themselves, for those who want to lose weight, for those who want to stay fit without giving up carbohydrates.
The products in question are: Pasta Young BCAA Zone and Pasta Young Bean Zone .
The first product, in flavor and color similar to traditional durum wheat semolina pasta, is a food designed for sports nutrition. It is in fact a low glycemic index pasta, with 32 grams of protein and 4 g of branched amino acids, which generally those who have sports take in the form of supplements before or after the workout.
What if after the workout you made yourself a nice plate of pasta instead?
The other product is called Bean Zone . A pasta that is worth a whole plate of legumes: it combines the proteins of durum wheat semolina with that of beans, making the proteins highly assimilated and providing a complete amino acid spectrum. Ideal for vegans, this pasta is perfect for those who want to supplement their protein quota with proteins that are not necessarily animal proteins during the day and for those who must follow a low glycemic index diet.
You get it all with just one plate of pasta: a 50-gram serving is filling and low on the glycemic index!
For this type of pasta I thought of a turmeric recipe. The reason is simple. Curcumin is a supplement that many sportsmen use, but in general , turmeric extract is a natural hepatoprotector and anti-inflammatory . Here’s how to make your pasta an even healthier dish. ( FOLLOW ON PAGE TWO )
