Designed to be “as powerful as a power bank”, Mi Max 3 has a 5500mAh battery, with a stand-by autonomy that can last up to 474 hours. It boasts a 6.9-inch full screen display, a 12MP + 5MP AI dual camera and a Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 636 SoC. A large 6.9 ”screen but easy to use with one hand

Mi Max 3’s 6.9-inch 18: 9 display has Full HD + 2160 x 1080 resolution with 85.19% screen-to-body ratio, 6.5% higher than Mi Max 2. This it means that Mi Max 3 offers a larger screen than its predecessor, without significantly increasing the body size. The large screen is ideal for GPS navigation and is suitable for stock trading and office work apps – especially useful for tasks such as editing documents and spreadsheets.

Mi Max 3 has a metal body with hidden antenna lines so as to ensure a very clean / linear aesthetic. The rear panel is rounded at the four sides, a choice that gives the body a slim profile. Thanks to the 18: 9 screen and its pocket format, Mi Max 3 can be used with one hand.

5500mAh battery and can be used as a power bank

Mi Max 3’s 5500mAh battery can support up to 10 hours of non-stop gaming, 17 hours of streaming and 233 hours of music playback. In addition to the massive battery, Mi Max 3 supports Qualcomm® Quick ChargeTM 3.0 and parallel charging – that is, multiple streams charging the battery at the same time – for fast charging, which also avoids overheating. A 9V / 2A charger is supplied with the smartphone, capable of recharging the battery from 0 to 71%, in just one hour.

Furthermore, Mi Max 3 can be used as a power bank, with an innovative and updated output of 5V / 1.2A. This makes it almost twice as efficient as the Mi Max 2, when friends need an emergency charge.

AI and Snapdragon 636 14nm for an even richer gaming experience

Mi Max 3 is powered by the Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 636 platform with 14nm technology. The four large Qualcomm® KryoTM 260 CPU cores ensure an excellent gaming experience. Thanks to special optimizations for the most common games, the Xiaomi platform is able to intelligently detect scenes and manage system resources to maximize performance.

The company has also further optimized MIUI to enrich the gaming experience with the Mi Max 3’s huge screen, including detection of unintended touches, automatic answer to calls during games and an integrated button dedicated to notifications.

The best AI dual camera and a front camera with soft light for selfies

Mi Max 3 is equipped with a latest generation AI dual camera. The 12MP main sensor is capable of capturing more light thanks to its large 1.4 μm pixels, enhancing details and reducing noise at the same time. It is also equipped with Dual Pixel Autofocus technology, with two photodiodes per pixel to calculate the light hitting the sensor – resulting in much faster autofocus, even in low light.

Even with a single lens, the 8MP front camera can create a realistic depth effect, thanks to the AI ​​bokeh mode. The camera is paired with a soft light to take better selfies. Mi Max 3 also offers AI face unlock for quick unlocking.
