Nvidia recently confirmed that on August 20, on the occasion of Gamescom 2018 , the GeForce Gaming Celebration event will be held , during which the new generation of graphics cards will probably be announced, confirming some rumors that have emerged over the last few weeks that they were seeing a launch fully scheduled for late August. During the event, the company will show some exclusive demos that will allow you to touch the potential of the new generation games, but Nvidia still wanted to point out that other surprises will be presented during the event.

In this sense, the most important announcement of the evening could be the GTX 1180 . At the moment the company has not released any precise statements on the matter, but for now the new GeForce 11 lineup should be composed like this:

• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1180 , with launch date scheduled for August 30th
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1170 , also coming September 30th
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1160 , with launch scheduled for October 30th
