Why do I always have a dry mouth and throat?
Good morning, I’m Andrea and I’m 42 years old. I state that I have always had a lot of saliva and my dentist has always been in trouble. For 3 months I started following the discipline of transurfing, distilled and ionized water with a ph higher than 7, ionized air in the room when I sleep, mainly vegetable foods, no pork , lots of fruit between meals. For about a month I have been without saliva, I have to drink a lot, and when I speak I find it hard to make a speech because my throat and mouth are too dry. At night I feel a lot of mucus going into my throat and in the morning I wake up with my throat burning and bothering me. I would like to know if anyone can help me understand what I have and what I can do. thanks Andrea Bonomi

Good morning, it makes me think that the treatment you are doing is not suitable for you. It is right to try to maintain the acid / base balance but alkalizing too much is not good especially if there is no real need. A vegetarian or partially vegetarian diet and sports reduce and regulate acidity on their own if it is not “important”. Moderate the ionization especially during the night and if stress is not the cause it should have noticeable improvements. Furthermore, I do not agree with the fashion of ionized and distilled water. Distillation takes away mineral elementsnecessary for the body by depleting it of minerals. If you do not want to suffer from bone demineralization in the future, use mineral waters that are not very calcareous and therefore defined as light between meals. Let me know if there is any improvement and if not, consult your doctor.
Good evening Andrea I will not answer all your question so I refer you to other more competent experts in the field, but I can bring you back what with a customer – over time – we have found useful in order to recover a better fit despite the inconvenience and thus improve the quality of life, despite the difficulties that existed and did not seem to be immediately resolvable. Why the dry mouth could be due to excessive breathing from the mouth instead of the nose in very dry environments. in addition to this, try to evaluate the following suggestions: 1- Does the type of heating you have in the house, where you stay and sleep, provide for the humidification of the environment or does it limit itself to progressively depleting the air of humidity? 2- I take it for granted that she drinks a lot of water and that she pees a lot, because she wrote it, eventually drink in small sips in the evening in the last two hours before going to bed, in order to favor the absorption of water progressively, instead of stimulating sudden diuresis. 3- Have you tried to change position and hold it for a while when you are lying down? Some positions favor the obstruction of the nostrils and the consequent breathing from the mouth which creates the consequent problems of dryness and probable development of canker sores. 4-Sometimes the permanence of some toothpastes in the mouth can irritate the buccal mucosa and this can manifest itself with a sense of itching and dryness for a few days, try to change toothpaste or talk to a trusted naturopath or pharmacist; 5-Could do some evening rinses with in order to favor the absorption of water progressively, instead of stimulating sudden diuresis. 3- Have you tried to change position and hold it for a while when you are lying down? Some positions favor the obstruction of the nostrils and the consequent breathing from the mouth which creates the consequent problems of dryness and probable development of canker sores. 4-Sometimes the permanence of some toothpastes in the mouth can irritate the buccal mucosa and this can manifest itself with a sense of itching and dryness for a few days, try to change toothpaste or talk to a trusted naturopath or pharmacist; 5-Could do some evening rinses with 3- Have you tried to change position and hold it for a while when you are lying down? Some positions favor the obstruction of the nostrils and the consequent breathing from the mouth which creates the consequent problems of dryness and probable development of canker sores. 4-Sometimes the permanence of some toothpastes in the mouth can irritate the buccal mucosa and this can manifest itself with a sense of itching and dryness for a few days, try to change toothpaste or talk to a trusted naturopath or pharmacist; 5-Could do some evening rinses with 3- Have you tried to change position and hold it for a while when you are lying down? Some positions favor the obstruction of the nostrils and the consequent breathing from the mouth which creates the consequent problems of dryness and probable development of canker sores. 4-Sometimes the permanence of some toothpastes in the mouth can irritate the buccal mucosa and this can manifest itself with a sense of itching and dryness for a few days, try to change toothpaste or talk to a trusted naturopath or pharmacist; 5-Could do some evening rinses with try changing your toothpaste or talk to a naturopath or pharmacist you trust; 5-Could do some evening rinses with try changing your toothpaste or talk to a naturopath or pharmacist you trust; 5-Could do some evening rinses witholive or sunflower oil before going to bed, leaving the surface of the mouth and throat wet with oil, so that you can limit the drying during the night or the period you need. Regarding the discipline you mentioned and the practice with ionized water, I have no tools or experience to consider them critically. However, if you have any doubts, you could try to suspend what you have introduced as a variation for 3 months now, to see if things return to what you remember being her asymptomatic physiological state. Cordiality Luca Dr. Vivaldi
