WhatsApp will have its own button within each Facebook post to allow users of the social network to share news and links through the messaging application.

Sooner or later it had to happen, many experts say. WhatsApp arrives on Facebook with a new function that allows users to send posts (statuses, photos and videos) on Facebook directly to WhatsApp.

The Send with WhatsApp button will be located next to the current Like, Comment and Share, as you can see in the screenshots (below) they posted on the Geektime website . This button is integrated in the beta 31.0.0.7.13 of Facebook , and allows you to share any post with WhatsApp contacts or groups.

As you can see in the image, it is a simple button with the WhatsApp icon that allows you to select a content to send it directly to WhatsApp . This is the first time that Facebook has integrated a WhatsApp feature on its platform.

The mechanism for doing this is very similar to the existing one of sharing and has been designed for direct and quick access for sending content via WhatsApp. Thus, Facebook seems to give greater prominence to this platform for which it has paid out as much as 20 billion euros.
