Weight loss bracelets: how they work

Weight loss bracelets: how they work

How do weight loss bracelets work, and, even before understanding how, let’s ask ourselves this question: do they work?
Let’s start to see what it is. First, weight loss bracelets are not fitness devices, they are not trackers, so we are not referring to smart bracelets.

They are simple wrist bracelets that can be helpful in losing weight.
But they only act in a certain way: they do not act with magnetotherapy.

So if you are interested in magnet slimming bracelets for weight loss, I am sorry to say that I have not found any evidence on these to say if they work or not.

The weight loss bracelets that work are the ones that manage to stimulate our sensory receptors to lose weight.
And from this point of view there is a vast scientific literature on the subject, so we are talking about something that can actually work for weight loss, but only in some cases.

BRACELETS FOR SLIMMING: WHAT ARE THEY

Weight loss bracelets are therefore bracelets that can be impregnated with essential oils. Yes, I’m talking about those bracelets and not others, because these bracelets are the only ones that really work. But not for everyone.
So, if you re-enter the case that I will describe now, they are undoubtedly worth the purchase.
These bracelets work because they take advantage of aromatherapy.

In fact, you must know that our sense of smell is the only sense directly connected, by means of nerve impulses, to those brain areas that are involved in the sense of hunger and satiety. The sense of smell has receptors that function differently from those of all the other senses. And in fact the scientific literature on this subject is very wide.

That is, we can take advantage of particular smells to lose weight IF AND ONLY IF, for example, we have problems with nervous hunger, food addiction, cravings for sweets. So weight loss bracelets work, but only in these cases.
They do not make you lose the extra pounds by magic, they do not burn more calories, they do not replace the diet.
But they are actually useful in the cases I have just described.

In fact, in recent years it has been discovered that prolonged exposure to certain odors has a strong anti-hunger effect, precisely because it acts at the level of the hypothalamus. Conversely, the sense of smell can even make us fat if exposure to a smell is short. This thing you may have already experienced without even realizing it.

If I smell too intense a scent of food and I smell it for a long time, for example for 5 minutes, I can feel a slight sense of nausea. If, on the other hand, I enter a place where they have just prepared something good, I will perceive an increase in appetite. Or: if I start cooking something for a few minutes, I will feel more hungry from the aromas that food give off, for example if I heat up a pizza or a dish. But if I am busy cooking a series of dishes for hours, and immediately afterwards I will sit at the table, I will not be as hungry.

Therefore stimulating the sense of smell in a certain way increases the possibility of losing weight, stimulating it in another makes you fat, because it stimulates hunger instead.

It is the reason why people with anosmia, or loss of smell, tend to eat very little, because in part this anosmia also compromises the sense of taste.

HOW TO USE THE BRACELETS TO LOSE WEIGHT

To stave off hunger, very intense smells such as vanilla, cinnamon, grapefruit or orange essential oil work.

Here you will find an example of a bracelet.
Stainless steel, aromatherapy essential oil diffuser with 8 color pads.

Obviously you are wondering: but I can use anything else, for example a candle, or directly the oil on the wrist. Yes sure.

However, I recommend wearing something, so as not to forget to immediately expose yourself to the smell when needed. Putting the oil directly on the skin can be annoying, remembering every time to open the bottle and smell it can be a non-automatic operation, so we can forget about it.

We put the bracelet on the wrist, so it will be enough to bring it to the nose every time we feel the urge to eat and simply remember to wait 2-3 minutes.

Once you have purchased our bracelet, put a few drops in the absorbent disk and bring the bracelet to the nose, smelling the essential oil for 3 minutes.
We have to do this very simple thing whenever we are hungry.
If we are craving sweets, I suggest vanilla essential oil. If, on the other hand, our hunger is mixed or tends towards salty, grapefruit.
