Vitamins and minerals, the deficiency that makes you fat
Some time ago I wrote an article on foods that made you fat, and also some unsuspected things that make you gain weight without realizing it: at one point I mentioned the lack of vitamins and minerals as one of the reasons why not only the diet is invalidated , but for which you even risk gaining weight. It seems that many are interested in this eventuality, in particular a couple of people then wrote to me asking me what a lack of vitamins and minerals had to do with body weight. I have documented myself in this regard in a more specific way, and I start with a premise: every day our body needs a quota of vitamins and mineral salts to function properly, and metabolic discourse is also part of this optimal functioning.In short, those who have a varied and healthy diet manage to make the metabolism work better than those who have an incorrect diet , because they eat poorly or because they exclude entire categories of foods, and for this reason they have nutritional deficiencies. The speech of supplements to remedy the lack of vitamins and mineral salts is opposed by many doctors and I am also skeptical: when I have done strong antibiotic therapies in the past, vitamin supplements have been largely discouraged. However, it is my duty to point out that a study from a few years ago found that people who were on a diet and took a multivitamin lost weight more easily. But those who eat a healthy and varied diet don’t need a supplement, gets everything it needs in the most natural way, through food. Finally, the consumption of supplements of vitamins and minerals legitimizes those who make them to a more unregulated and deficient life, with the excuse that they take supplements in the morning so much. But stop the chatter and let’s see what vitamin and mineral salts deficiencies lead to greater body fat.
Vitamin D and calcium:Â their deficiency is responsible for greater abdominal fat;
Potassium: potassium deficiency produces greater swelling and water retention;
B vitamins:Â essential for a more efficient metabolism and better digestion;
Vitamin C:Â allows you to burn more fat by turning it into energy.
Iron, Chromium, Manganese, Zinc:they control the stimulation of appetite, help the metabolism of sugars, reduce nervous hunger.
