Two detox and antioxidant drinks that you absolutely must try
It may be fashion, it may be what you want, but detox drinks really work both to balance our diet and to help us lose weight: what’s the trick? Knowing how to do them. Avoid creating drinks with a high sugar content, for example by blending or centrifuging only fruit with vegetable milk, and avoiding gulping down too many calories in a single drink. Similarly, now that juices and smoothies at the bar are in fashion, take a good look at the ingredients of those proposed, and alternatively ask for a do-it-yourself.
In fact, often avocado, coconut milk or avocado, cocoa nibs or chia seeds, all delicious things, make the smoothie high in calories.
A 300 calorie smoothie only makes sense if we use it instead of a meal, as a partial or full replacement. Of course, if we had a 300 or 400 calorie drink as a snack, it would become much easier to exceed our daily calorie needs and gain weight rather than lose it!
I give you an example with these two detox drinks with a modest calorie content, rich in antioxidants, ideal for “recovering” from a period of stress, due to return from vacation, dinner and bulky lunches, a disordered eating style for various commitments. Both of these drinks are really useful.
We can take them both during the day, and take a cure for at least a week. So if you buy organic ingredients you will need them for the whole week, the same thing for the shopping of fruit and vegetables.
