The tips for losing weight from the Masterchef winner
Do you know Federico Francesco Ferrero?
If you have followed the Masterchef program, then you will surely know that Dr. Federico F. Ferrero, nutritionist, has won the third season of the Italian version of the famous program.
Always interested in food, both in terms of health and in that of taste, Dr. Ferrero has recently illustrated some tips for people who want to lose weight.
He did it after having published a book, ” Mission Lightness ” In which he tries to spread a simple, healthy cuisine with few quality ingredients.
Let’s see what Dr. Ferrero recommends for weight loss.
THE WINNER’S TIPS FOR LOSSING MASTERCHEF
- Avoid standard and trendy diets.
The only weight loss diet that works is the one tailored to the patient. A standard diet for everyone does not make sense, because each of us gains weight in his own way and in specific places, as well as having his own tastes and problems with nutrition. - Avoid last minute diets.
Changing diet also means changing our approach to food, and to do this it takes time and patience. Don’t trust diets that promise quick results, which are drastic and fast. - Avoid supplements .
If there are no tests that specify specific nutritional deficiencies, taking supplements for preventive and health purposes does not make sense, but it is a way that people have to clear their conscience about adequate nutrition. - Eat less, but not light. Avoid light foods, lightened and without flavor or nourishment. Instead, prefer a light cuisine, made of few and healthy ingredients that should not be demonized.
Start with good raw materials and simple cooking for healthy cooking. - Do the true Mediterranean diet.
The Mediterranean diet proposed by Ancel Keys (which for Ferrero is the true Mediterranean diet: I – and not just me – here I would have doubts / Ed) is made up of vegetables, whole grains, wholemeal bread, legumes, a little ricotta and dairy products, some fruit but without exaggerating, fish, occasionally a piece of meat. And extra virgin olive oil. - Eat fruit in moderation: yes as a mid-morning snack, not to finish every meal.
