The sustainable diet to lose 10 kilos
Bill Roth is the man who lost ten kilos with what he calls a “sustainable diet” or a diet based on foods that are good not only for our health but for the planet.
The sustainable diet to lose 10 kilos is called “BOOMERS DIET”.
That is the diet of the boomers or millennials , in honor of that generation that grew up with comforts and fast food and poor quality food always available on supermarket shelves. A healthy diet for those who believe they are eating better in the modern era, but actually eat worse than their grandparents and even their ancestors.
The diet of Bill Roth, an economist, refers to what is commonly called generation Y , that is, to all those born between the 1980s and the 2000s.
People who have found themselves with global warming, TV as their teacher, internet and video games, and indeed fast food and hypermarkets.
Young people and adults in their thirties or forties looking to eat a healthier diet. It is estimated that over 40% of these people are worried about eating too many processed or poor quality foods and change their diet frequently. But at the same time he wants to spend little.
What does the sustainable diet consist of?
In simple things, a few healthy habits to start losing weight without a real regimen.
First of all, drink a lot of water, preferring tap water to mineral bottles.
Eat natural and fresh foods daily such as fish, white meats, avocados, apples and bananas, salads, tomatoes and cabbage, eggs, but also new vegan alternatives, such as legume pasta or vegan cheese based on oil seeds.
Walking non-stop, at a brisk pace and without pauses, for at least twenty minutes a day.
Do half an hour of cardio gymnastics (ten minutes of warm-up and twenty of activity) between bikes, steppers, treadmills, running, steps, aerobics.
Eat organic and / or eat in season.
Avoid buying industrial products at the supermarket, i.e. all those products that are industrially processed.
Sustainability therefore becomes not just a health issue, but an educational one. And this healthy eating translates, as Roth explains, into quick and painless weight loss.
On page two we see a practical example of a sustainable diet, that is healthy but also economic and ecological.
