Viz Media has announced via its Twitter profile  (tweet below) that in the course of 2017 it will publish a manga on Splatoon . The manga inspired by the Nintendo brand and created by Sankichi Hinodeya  is already published in Japan under  CoroCoro Comics . According to this announcement it seems that the translated version of the manga in question will arrive towards the end of this year  also in Europe and Central America  distributed by  Viz Media .

Announcement: Splatoon, the manga series inspired by Nintendo’s hit title will debut in late 2017! join the  Mollusca Scrum! 

This new illustrated series deals with the events of the  Blue Team , an Inkling team led by  Goggles-Kun and his three friends: Headphones-Chan , Glasses-Kun and Knit Cap (Bobble) -Chan  during their  Mollusca Brawls . For now, no other details have been disclosed besides these, but we will surely know more during this period prior to its launch.

Meanwhile, we remind you that the sequel to the video game to which it is inspired will soon be released. In fact, the release of Splatoon 2 is scheduled for next July 21, 2017 exclusively on Nintendo Switch . What do you think of Splatoon ? Will you follow the manga? But most of all will you play its sequel when it comes out?
