The ideal would be to drink it for breakfast, instead of your traditional breakfast, perhaps accompanying it with a whole Greek yogurt.
Not only does it have incredible benefits for weight loss and intestinal regularity, but it is a vitamin panacea: in addition to beta-carotene which is a vitamin A provitamin, it provides vitamin C and vitamin E.

CARROTS AND GRAPEFRUIT SMOOTHIE

A pink grapefruit (200 gr)
5-6 almonds (15 gr)
a teaspoon of chia seeds (5 gr)
3 medium carrots (210 gr) 
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
a piece of fresh ginger
stevia for sweetening (optional)
1/2 cup of water (150 ml)
3-4 ice cubes (optional)

As an alternative to pink grapefruit: 200 ml of sugar-free grapefruit juice or a 150 g orange (recommended option). In the case of grapefruit juice, decrease the amount of water to 100 ml. Blend all the ingredients starting with almonds and carrots, then add ginger, grapefruit, chia seeds and water, and let the mixture rest for ten minutes before drinking. The chia seeds will give the mixture an almost creamy texture.
