THE SECRET TO LOSE WEIGHT THAT NO ONE WILL EVER TELL YOU
by Daniele Trova
Let’s start from the beginning
Sometimes I wonder if the ancients knew the word “ diet ” as we know it and we understand it. Honestly, I have never investigated the historical question, but it would be interesting to know more about it, just out of curiosity.
Diet, from the Latin Diaeta, that is, habit, way of life .
For real? But how, isn’t dieting that process of making me lose my damn pounds?
What tells me how much to eat, what to do, how many calories to burn etc … etc ..?
When did the word “Diet” lose its original meaning?
That is to say that ofImprove a person’s Quality of Life ?
Diet must improve the quality of our life.
Only in truly modern times has the word diet become fundamental not only for health, but also for aesthetics, having a strong importance in the psychophysical well-being of the person. Obsession with diet is a disease of industrialized countries and we know it. I would like to know if, in places where there is a lack of food, there is only one teenager who cares about getting into her super skinny jeans.
Let’s change the meaning of the word diet
. Personally, for years I have been fighting an endless war against diet (intended as a restriction).
First mine, then that of others. The same concept of diet that we know today should be revised and no longer considered only as a dietary or behavioral restriction, but should completely respect the general well-being of any person.
I know what you’re thinking: Ok, Daniele, but how to do it?
Well, in this short article I would like to share a secret with you(which is not a secret) to know before embarking on any plan for the “change” of weight. What I have done in my life was to study Personal Growth in depth and then apply it to weight control and management.
