The real irritable bowel diet? Read it here
I have suffered from irritable bowel for years, taking drugs and coming and going to hospitals for injections: at one point I learned so much about which foods to avoid and which to eat , that I became a real expert on the subject and I no longer needed the drugs although the stress in my life was certainly not lacking. As a blogger, I then had to clash with half-truths (and often bullshit) that are read on the internet about irritable bowel: advice that if the unfortunate person suffering from irritable bowel were to take it literally would worsen his situation until hospitalization.. Yet, since you can read about everything and more on the internet, the wrong advice for an irritable bowel diet abounds.
The first of all? Eat more fiber. The second one?
Eat fermented foods. At that point you can even die, they don’t advise you but let’s say they didn’t help you heal. Eating more fiber and more fermented foods, such as yogurt, does not help those suffering from irritable bowel, which instead has an irritation that causes constipation or diarrhea, abdominal gas that creates very painful and unpleasant pangs, often entangled in mucus bubbles, retention water and weight gain with a swollen, tense and painful belly. Undoubtedly, there is an attack / irritation phase where you have to be very careful in your diet, and a phase of normality or almost in which it is necessary to review one’s diet in a global sense.
In the first phase, you don’t have to eat more fiber or eat probiotics.
If you have a swollen and sore stomach, here’s how you should eatÂ
