The microbiome diet”, a diet for intestinal detoxification
A diet designed for intestinal detoxification, a sort of re-start of our microbiota, or of the intestinal bacterial flora that has trillions of bacteria capable of “dialogue” with our metabolism, making us lose weight or gain weight and in general radically influencing our health .
According to Dr. Kellman , a holistic physician, with a diet that focuses on probiotic foods, it is possible to lose weight and then replenish the right foods in the diet to stay fit . A diet that he called “ the diet of the microbiome“, But which compared to the others presents a novelty: there is no restriction of any macronutrient, therefore carbohydrates, proteins and fats are eaten, and there is no calorie restriction. Considered the perfect diet for those who have done all of them without losing weight, the Microbiome Diet is based on an intestinal detoxification program that unfolds in 4 points, namely:
1) acting on the bacteria that make us fat, starving them, with a diet that nourishes the good bacteria
2) integrating the diet with the right digestive enzymes
3) using probiotic and prebiotic foods to maintain a healthy intestinal microbiota
4) fighting intestinal problems of bloating, allergies, indigestion.
Let’s see how to do it on page two.
The intestinal detox diet is based on three stages: in the first phase, which lasts three weeks, we say goodbye to foods that contain gluten, soy, sugar, eggs, cheese, milk and dairy products.
We eat probiotic and prebiotic foods ( here the list ), fruits and vegetables, meat and fish, whole grains without gluten. In the second phase, lasting two weeks, eggs and milk are reintroduced. In the last phase, for another two weeks, we go back to eating everything but in the right proportions. Those who did it lost an average of 5 kilos.
