The homemade spice detox tea
A very simple detox tea to make, and very useful for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect, but also for helping the liver and fighting water retention. Delicious because it is based on the combination of some spices, all you need to make this detox herbal tea is a juicer or an extractor (recommended option). Do you have neither one nor the other? Never mind, go to method two for the preparation of the detox herbal tea.
DETOX HERBAL TEA WITH SPICES
Centrifuge or use an extractor to obtain the juice (in the case of the centrifuge, arm yourself with a sieve and filter the contents)
A 6 cm piece of ginger root
A 6 cm piece of turmeric fresh root
The juice of three peeled lemons
Once the juice is obtained, add half a liter of boiling water, a sliced lemon, two pinches of cayenne pepper, and leave to rest for ten minutes; you will have the equivalent of four servings of detox herbal tea, which can be kept in the fridge for 4-5 days. Drink a hot cup a day, filtered, morning or afternoon, between meals, sweetened with a teaspoon of organic honey.
If you don’t have an extractor, you can make the herbal tea in this other way.Â
Boil half a liter of water with a sliced lemon including peel, a teaspoon and a half of turmeric powder and a teaspoon and a half of ginger powder, two pinches of cayenne pepper. As soon as it boils, turn off and let it rest for ten minutes. Filter it and drink a cup a day.
