Who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookies? And who avoids buying them to try to make a more natural diet and less compromised by additives, preservatives, refined flours, glucose syrup? Often the chocolate chip cookies on the market can be a real trap for the line, but these are not. The cookies in this recipe are simple, healthy, nutritious, perfect for those looking for a 100% natural diet. I got the recipe from the site http://www.healthyfoodteam.com and it immediately won me over. These are cookies made, hear, hear … with avocado!
Ingrediants
- 50 gr. of organic dark chocolate melted in a half tablespoon of coconut oil (as an alternative of not strong olive or butter or ghee: avoid other vegetable oils)
- ½ avocado
- 2 tablespoons of organic almond butter (from organic)
- ¼ cup of honey (about ⅚ tablespoons)
- 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa
- 1 and a half tablespoons of almond flour
- 1 egg and 1 free-range yolk
- a pinch of whole salt
Instructions
- The procedure is very simple:
- blend the half avocado, add the other ingredients one at a time, and operate the mixer until the mixture looks nice and fluffy. Put it in a cup and keep it in the fridge for an hour. Take a baking tray, put a sheet of parchment paper on top and brush it with very little oil. Remove the mixture from the fridge and spoon it onto the pan. Put in the oven at 170/180 degrees, cooking the biscuits for 10/15 minutes (do the toothpick test after 10 minutes).
- The extra idea: instead of honey you can use about 12 dates previously soaked in water.
