The glycemic index diet according to experts

Experts from the Glycemic Index Foundation, a group of nutritionists and diabetologists who are experts in the theory of the glycemic index, have developed a series of low-glycemic index food plans. The goal is to encourage sedentary and overweight people to follow a glycemic index diet, or low glycemic load meals to lose weight and stay healthy.

I had already illustrated one of their plans here, the one based on the Mediterranean diet with a low glycemic index .

Let’s now look at a much simpler and more flexible glycemic index diet plan.

The plan does not include snacks, but breakfast or other meal options can be split for those unable to eat only three meals a day. I recommend that you move the fruit after lunch for a snack or snack.

As you can see, there are no specific portions either.
We refer to a medium portion, but in parentheses I give you some free suggestions. In general it is a low-calorie plan, therefore slimming. Lunch and dinner can be reversed.
