The Dukan Escalier diet
The weekly Dukan diet of the “nutritional scale” or the escalier method is a diet that I have already talked about in an article , but which I return to after some of you have asked me for clarification. It is a softer Dukan diet, in which the classic Dukan regimen is condensed into a week: you go from the first day of pure proteins to the seventh in which you basically eat balanced . Each day changes with the addition of an extra food category, allowing us to go from a strictly protein to a balanced diet in just seven days.
Who is it suitable for? The Dukan escalier diet is suitable for those who have to lose little weight, i.e. from one size up to a maximum of 10-15 kilos. Of course, those who have to lose ten / fifteen kilos do not have “little weight” to lose and certainly do not solve it in a week : however the useful thing about the Dukan escalier diet is that the weekly schedule can be repeated as long as we want. The other useful thing about the Dukan escalier diet is that unlike the normal Dukan which I find unbalanced and dangerous, it is not bad for health and therefore can be followed without particular contraindications. Obviously if the Dukan escalier diet guaranteed the same weight loss as the Dukan it would be super cool! Instead the weight loss is modest, but the good thing is thatyou can do the diet even for months without any disadvantage, not even metabolic. 7/800 grams are lost every week, according to the results of a sample study involving eighty people.
THESE ARE THE RULES OF THE DUKAN ESCALIER DIET OR THE 7 DAYS
– For each day you can eat only the foods allowed
– After the first week (which can be from Monday to Sunday, solution that I recommend), the diet starts again from day one.
– During the day you must drink a particular green tea made with green tea in one and a half tablespoons (15 grams) infused in a liter of water, with a pinch of chilli, the juice of a lime and sweetener to taste. The tea should be drunk cold five times a day: so let’s consider 5 glasses a day of this green tea. – How to know how much weight we need to lose? Well, either we do it ourselves or we log on to the Dukan website and calculate our ideal weight.
