Yesterday I experimented with this diet cake, developed with functional ingredients defined as superfoods by nutritionists, ideal for breakfast, because despite having a share of carbohydrates, it is a balanced cake with ingredients useful to stimulate the metabolism as soon as you wake up. As you can see, it has no butter or oil, but it has a share of fat from eggs, almonds and seeds, with just under 300 calories per serving if you divide it into eight parts. And I assure you that every portion is generous and satisfying for breakfast. Paired with sugar-free coffee or tea, it is nutritionally perfect. To try!
Ingrediants
- For eight people:
- 200 gr. Low GI Fiberpasta flour
- 150 gr, honey
- 50 gr. of rolled oats
- 3 medium sized ripe Abate pears
- a tablespoon of crushed flaxseed
- 60 grams of almonds in coarse pieces
- 50 gr. dark chocolate in coarse pieces
- grated lemon peel
- 3 large eggs
- cinnamon to taste
- a pinch of whole salt
- 170 gr. low-fat Greek yogurt type Fage
- 200 ml skimmed milk (or sugar-free almond milk)
- 10 grams of unsweetened cocoa for sprinkling
- yeast one sachet
Instructions
- Peel the pears and cut them into small pieces. Add the lemon peel, chocolate, cinnamon, almonds, honey, salt, flax seeds and rolled oats. Add one egg at a time first, the Greek yogurt and the milk slowly, mixing well until all the ingredients are well blended. Finally, add the sifted flour a little at a time and finally the yeast.
- Put the mixture in a round pan lined with parchment paper, then in the oven at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes. Let it cool and sprinkle with bitter cocoa.
