The detox watermelon smoothie
Watermelons begin to be seen around: perfect fruits because full of water and sugars, ideal for rehydrating in the right way. In fact, watermelon contains the right mix of simple sugars, trace elements and water that make it a perfect snack to detoxify and drain.
Here are two watermelon detox smoothie recipes that will give you great results and are perfect for eating more fruits and vegetables in one go!
RECIPE NUMBER ONE
Detox smoothie watermelon and rocket
Blend together a 250 gram slice of watermelon with a handful of mint leaves and a cup of rocket leaves plus two or three ice cubes. The flavor of the watermelon covers that of the rocket, so the result will still be sweet, flavored and refreshing. A big glass comes out! You can make this a perfect meal replacement with 100 grams of whole Greek yogurt.
RECIPE NUMBER TWO
Detox smoothie and fat burner with celery, cucumber and watermelon
Here too the trick of Greek yogurt applies to obtain a meal replacement or alternatively a scoop of vanilla flavored whey protein and 150 ml of water. Blend together a nice stick of celery with a medium-sized cucumber and 250 grams of watermelon, a pinch of powdered ginger, one of cinnamon, together with 3-4 ice cubes to obtain a frothy mixture.
