The Cambridge diet for drastically losing weight

The Cambridge diet for drastically losing weight

Advertised in England by actress Jennifer Ellison, a new fast diet to lose weight quickly with some nice tricks conquers the pages of newspapers .

This is the Cambridg diet and, indicated for those with a lot of kilos to lose, has tried them all but without results and has now reached peaks of desperation for which anything is fine, as long as it works.

This diet is in fact based on products, as the official website explains, and a diet program that goes from 440 to 650 calories per day in the drastic diet phase, up to 1500 in the maintenance phase, through beverages for two and a half liters of liquids.

The Cambridge diet: the phases

There are actually four phases of the Cambridge diet, also known as the 1: 1 diet.

Preparation, drastic weight loss phase, transition phase and long-term weight maintenance phase. Anyone wishing to purchase the products must expect a cost of around € 5 per week.

It is a ketogenic diet.

In the weight loss phase, you eat three replacement meals and lose 10 kilos per month.
However, the site to register is in English, this is it here . The diet is also called 1: 1 because it involves the support of a nutritional coach (one per client).  The diet is actually forty years old, having been developed in the 1970s. You buy products that you must eat to lose weight, follow a low-calorie guided program that stimulates ketosis. You have a consultation and a coach who pushes you to lose weight.

The Cambridge diet is a liquid or semi-solid diet, since in the first part, the diet consists of soups, smoothies or shakes and some snacks. Obviously there are various versions, also according to the food restrictions of those who follow it, so there is also the vegan version.
