The Adamski diet or the Adamski method
Presented as a “non-diet diet”, the Adamski method or Adamski diet is a method to lose weight and restore one’s health (especially for circulatory, joint and osteoarticular, skin, breathing problems) through an improvement in digestion that consists of a very simple rule. First I will explain what it is and only then we will draw conclusions.
First of all it would be better to talk about the Adamski method and not the Adamski diet.Â
The Adamski method is not a real diet , but a dietary rule: therefore there are no foods to exclude, if anything, foods to be eaten in a certain way, under certain conditions, there are no quantities, etc.
Developed by the naturopath and osteopath Dr. Frank Laporte-Adamski , of French nationality but who obtained his Heilpratiker title in Germany and who has lived in Italy for twenty years, the Adamski method focuses on correct digestion, through two techniques:
– a dietary correction based on a rule and which provides for improvements in 3/4 days
– a manipulation, or the use of manual techniques to reduce the patient’s symptoms.
Clearly we will deal only with the first aspect, analyzing it.
According to the Adamski method, in fact, foods are divided into “fast acid” and “slow non acid” (definitions of his invention). I thought that it was referring to the pH, and that therefore the proposed method was similar to the alkaline diet, known dietary hoax; but Adamski explains that this acid / non-acid classification does not affect the ph of foods or their molecular structure (which need not be analyzed, he explains). So the first problem concerns the definition: define what is acid, define what is fast or slow : fast or slow digestion?
Fast acidic foods should never be mixed with slow non acidic foods: it is this combination, which, however, if we do not analyze the molecular structure of the foods, it will not be clear, which according to Dr. Adamski causes intestinal absorption problems and intestinal function problems. And from here, diseases arise.Â
