THE 22-DAY DIET, THE RULES
As I had already written previously, the 22-day diet , developed by personal trainer and nutritionist Marco Borges, is a vegan regime, with this breakdown of macronutrients: 80% carbohydrates, 10% protein and 10% fat.
There is NO need to count calories!
1) Choose products from nature and not industrially processed
2) Buy local and buy organic
3) Eat three complete meals a day
4) It would be better not to snack, but focus on three satisfying meals: however, as a snack you can opt for raw vegetables with two tablespoons of hummus, a dozen unsalted walnuts of your choice, a fruit wedge or a piece of fruit with a teaspoon of nut or almond butter.
5) A dessert is often included in the three complete meals
6) Try to eat so that you are full but without overfilling
7) If you use protein supplements for sports, choose rice proteins
8) Dinner at least two hours before going to bed
9) Start the day with a glass of water and lemon and drink a glass of water before each meal
