2) Do 20 minutes a day of full body exercises: 2 days arms, 2 days legs, 2 days abdomen and one day of cardio
3) There is no need to binge on protein, but to have a varied diet that includes proteins and amino acids: so yes to whole grains, vegetables and legumes alongside proteins to build lean mass
4) Drink less alcohol and more water: try to reduce your wine or beer consumption to one glass a day, not more.
5) It’s okay to eat cheese, but don’t overdo the consumption of cheeses and dairy products: try to make them in the center of a meal and not as a snack or addition to every meal.
6) Don’t get alienated: even if you are on a diet you don’t necessarily have to avoid friends or special occasions. Suggest different places to meet.
7) Avoid crash diets
8) Avoid an all-or-nothing philosophy: even when you decide to eat healthy, you shouldn’t think that a free meal or a day off or the famous foods are no longer out of your reach
9) Don’t overdo gluten : alternates pseudocereals (buckwheat, quinoa) and rice to the diet.
10)Try making one change per day (or week) to improve your life, and not do it all at once. Thus you will avoid treating your desire for a healthier diet for a “healthy phase” that lasts as long as your enthusiasm.
