Spring draining herbal teas

The period of spring is a period of transition: we pass from the cold to the beautiful seasons, and the body awakens. On a metabolic and hormonal level, longer, warmer and sunnier days are a stimulus to lose weight. And if we want to dry ourselves, reduce swelling and water retention, we can adopt a few more tricks to take advantage of this very special moment. For example with draining herbal teas that allow us to reduce the sensation of swelling, dry ourselves of excess fluids, help us fight edema and cellulite. In short, let’s help us make spring a moment of real awakening.

SPRING DRAINING HERBAL TEA
1) With birch and ulmaria flowers (improves circulation and the lymphatic system):
 heat 200 ml of water and turn off just before it comes to a boil; add a handful of birch leaves and one of ulmaria leaves, cover the saucepan and leave to infuse for ten minutes. Filter, and drink it in a cup with organic lemon zest. ( via Riza )
2) Cherry tree (diuretic): boil the water (200 ml), turn off, and pour in a level spoon (about 4 gr) of cherry tree stalks.
Leave to infuse for ten minutes, always covering the saucepan. Filter and drink the herbal tea: one a day (via Bellifuoriedentro ).
3) Spring tonic:in this case we are talking about a tonic, or a drink that must be consumed throughout the day (3 glasses a day for 4 consecutive days) to make a draining and detoxifying treatment. The recipe for a liter of water:
2 dandelion
roots 2 burdock
roots 2 ginseng roots
4 tablespoons of parsley
4 tablespoons of dandelion leaves
Boil all the coarsely chopped ingredients in a liter of water for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave to infuse for twenty minutes. Filter everything, leave the tonic at room temperature and drink it as directed (via Tanta Salute)
