Smoothies for breakfast: the creamy coffee and dates smoothie
If you are looking for smoothies for breakfast , here’s a really yummy idea under 200 calories that will make you think you’re at a Starbucks in Manhattan, but is also balanced and nutritious. It is a creamy smoothie with coffee and dates , halfway between a cold cappuccino and a coffee milkshake. The calories are 178 per glass, and for 230 calories we can combine this delicious breakfast with 100 grams of skimmed Greek yogurt with a little cinnamon and stevia to add more protein and greater satiety and completeness to our breakfast, always arriving at a negative calorie balance compared to to a traditional breakfast. Of the breakfast smoothies I’ve tried, this is without a doubt one of the most delicious.
SMOOTHIES FOR BREAKFAST: THE SMOOTHIE COFFEE AND DATES
For 3 portions
100 grams of banana
70 grams of oat flakes
3 pitted dates, left to soak
two cups of espresso coffee + 200 ml of water
300 ml of Alpro almond milk
a tablespoon of seeds chia
4-5 ice cubes (if we prepare it in summer)
Procedure: blend all the ingredients and divide the mixture into 3 glasses. If you don’t drink it right away, I recommend that you freeze the other portions, put one out of the freezer a couple of hours beforehand and then quickly re-blend it.
