Slimming products, here’s when not to trust (almost always)
Weight loss products, weight loss packages, diets provided by companies, replacement meals: nine times out of ten they are traps and we know it well, but we fall for them anyway. Below, a small handbook written by slimming expert Jackie Conn to warn all people who easily fall victim to these false promises.
SLIMMING PRODUCTS, PACKAGES AND COMPANY: SLOGANS YOU SHOULD NOT TRUST
Let’s start with a series of slogans, that is, effect phrases that are used to win over customers but that have no real response: in short, they are nonsense to not believe.
1) Works without special diets or gymnastics
2) Promises quick weight loss in no time, for example one kilo a day
3) Does not magically make you absorb calories: eat as much as you want and lose weight 4) Lose weight
effortlessly except wearing a special garment
5 ) Lose weight effortlessly and at night thanks to a cream or herbal tea
6) Lose weight locally thanks to a specific product that melts fat
SLIMMING PRODUCTS, PACKAGES AND COMPANY: THE SCAM PHOTOS
The photos that accompany these slogans are of two types:
– photos of fitness models: seriously do you think that swallowing a substitute meal will make your abdomen flat and defined? Come on…
– stolen photos of weight loss witnessed on the internet: it is one of the most famous cases of scam; images are stolen that actually belong to former obese people who have published their results on the internet (who have not followed that treatment at all).
SLIMMING PRODUCTS, PACKAGES AND COMPANY: BEWARE OF CONTRACTS
Finally, pay attention to what you sign, but not only: also look at those documents that you read on the internet and that you have to accept or reject by simply ticking with the mouse. These are always contracts that contain as many binding clauses that you will not get rid of easily.
So think very carefully before giving your consent to anything.
