Sergio Chisari’s light protein cheesecake
Today we see a very good “fit” recipe: the light protein cheesecake by Sergio Chisari , personal trainer, which has the particularity of being low-calorie if you consider that the whole cake is only 4 portions, and reaches 1140 calories overall, while a cheesecake traditional has more than triple! If you are looking for other similar recipes, I propose Sergio Chisari’s cookbook, complete with 120 fitness recipes including breakfast, snacks, lunches and dinners, but also smoothies. It is not in paper format but digital, and you can find it here: http://sergiochisarifitness.com/ricettario-completo/
Now we come to the recipe for the light protein cheesecake!
Ingredients:
Two large whole eggs
400 gr light spreadable cheese
(ok Philadelphia Balance or light, Exquisa Light, etc.)
1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa
1 tablespoon of peanut or almond butter
2 scoops of whey protein powder (whey )
neutral taste or taste of your choice
300 gr Greek yogurt 0% fat ((ok Delta or Fage)
Sweetener such as stevia or truvia to taste (start from a teaspoon)
Procedure: simply combine all the ingredients in a bowl and blend them with an electric mixer until they are well blended. Pour the contents into a 22 cm diameter cake pan lined with parchment paper.
Put in the oven for about half an hour (in the original recipe it says twenty minutes, but half an hour in my opinion is the ideal time) then let it cool and put it in the freezer for a couple of hours, then in the fridge.
