Sara Cordara’s diet of slimming smoothies

Sara Cordara’s diet of slimming smoothies

Appeared on Iodonna , the diet of slimming smoothies of Dr. Sara Cordara , nutritionist, immediately struck me.

It is a one-week semi-liquid regime, with five days of slimming shakes as a replacement meal, to rebalance the intestinal flora, lose weight and fight water retention.

The trick is to substitute one of these smoothies for the traditional meal at lunch.
For those who work in the office, given the recipes, they can be prepared in the morning and then shaken before drinking them for lunch, or made in the evening.

The diet thus comes as a detox lightning regimen .
In the first week, the days based on slimming shakes are consecutive, from Monday to Friday.
Breakfast and dinner as usual.
On Saturday and Sunday the normal diet should be done, perhaps without overdoing it.

The following week, meal replacement days can be alternated with solid lunch days .
So let’s see the diet of slimming shakes from Monday to Friday.

DR CORDARA’S DIET OF SLIMMING SHAKES

Monday lunch.
The meal is replaced with the beetroot smoothie , which is obtained by blending a small beet + a raw carrot with a 150 gr apple or pear.

Tuesday lunch.
A sweet and sour smoothie, obtained by blending an apple, a pear, a carrot, two celery sticks, three ice cubes, flakes of fresh ginger, half a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil or coconut.

Wednesday lunch.
Blend 200 ml of soy milk (or skim milk) with a chopped ripe mango (alternatively 2 small kiwis), 2 teaspoons of honey and 4 ice cubes.

Thursday lunch.
Blend a large handful of blueberries (100 g) or alternatively two small fresh plums with 200 ml of skimmed cow or soy milk, two teaspoons of honey and 2 ice cubes. In the original recipe there is also the juice of a lime. Personally I would avoid, but you could get some extra vitamin C with some fresh rocket or baby spinach (a handful).

Friday lunch.
Blend a large handful of blueberries or alternatively two small fresh plums (100 g) with 200 ml of semi-skimmed cow or soy milk, half a glass of raspberry or blueberry juice and 4 ice cubes.

What to eat the rest of the time?
The doctor recommends snacks based on raw vegetables or fruit or skimmed Greek yogurt (two a day), dinner not only protein that we can get by combining a small second course based on fish or meat of your choice or low-fat cheeses with sautéed vegetables and a small sandwich or a large fruit.
