Enhance Games has officially unveiled the release date of the new Rez  one week after the conclusion of E3 2016 , where the game was already present ( tweet below ). Rez Infinite is a  PlayStation 4 remake of the historic musical shooter originally released on Dreamcast and PlayStation 2  way back in 2001 . The game will be released at the same time as the launch of PlayStation VR , which is Thursday 13 October 2016 .

Now that the E3 dust has settled, we’re excited to confirm Rez Infinite will be launching on Oct. 13, 2016 for PS4 and PSVR. See you then!

Tetsuya Mizuguchi , the producer of the original  Rez and leader in the development of the title under his new studio, has opted to return to the game after seeing the potential of virtual reality, creating Enchance Games to retrain Rez as a game in  Virtual Reality . The developer stressed, however, that Rez Infinite will not be distributed only with VR support but can also be purchased in the standard version, consequently those who do not purchase Playstation VR will still be able to enjoy this fantastic title that can be downloaded in digital format from the PlayStation Store . You remember the firstRez ? Will you try this new Rez Infinite  with or without PlayStation VR ?
