Restorative smoothie in cases of malnutrition: recipe
This recipe is dedicated to those dealing with undernourished subjects, for example the elderly or people with impaired swallowing. It is a restorative smoothie, made with long-lasting ingredients that will allow you to obtain, with an initial expenditure of about 40 euros of basic ingredients, about the quantity of thirty servings, to cover a month’s needs.
This smoothie is designed to compensate for those in a state of malnutrition: it is rich in vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates and fats but without additives and thickeners. It also has a low glycemic load and the fats contained do not raise cholesterol because it is mainly short-chain. It also gives the big advantage of being able to save. In fact, smoothies and puddings of this type generally cost a lot. They can be found in pharmacies, but buying them means spending a minimum of 30-40 euros every week.
A little too much for those who perhaps have an elderly or non self-sufficient person in charge of their nutrition or who are still debilitated as a result of specific diseases or ailments. It is possible to make additions to the basic recipe: these additions are highlighted in brackets.

The smoothie can also be made in a vegan way: just replace normal milk with soy milk.
