Research explains how to get rid of abdominal fat

How to get rid of abdominal fat? Abdominal fat is not only unsightly according to many, but is often linked to the presence of visceral fat, the fat that surrounds the organs and is considered the most dangerous to health.

Today, however, new scientific research indicates a clear and affordable method for saying goodbye to the belly.
Indeed, the methods suggested by scientists would be two. Let’s see them together.

HOW TO GET FREE FROM ABDOMINAL FAT?
Here are the two strategies to follow according to the scientists

According to researchers from Skidmore College in New York, who presented their findings at the latest Obesity Society conference, there are two dietary strategies that, when combined, allow you to get rid of abdominal fat. The researchers tested them on a group of 40 overweight subjects with a tendency to accumulate belly fat.
The first group followed the two methods, the second a healthy low-calorie diet rich in fiber similar to the Mediterranean one (on average 1350 calories). All for eight weeks.

Obviously both groups have lost weight, but with one essential difference: the first group lost, with the same caloric restriction with the second, more weight in general and 6% more abdominal fat.
So what are these two strategies that combined together help us lose more weight without having to cut more calories than a normal weight loss diet?

two protein meals

FIRST STRATEGY TO GET OFF ABDOMINAL FAT

The first strategy is to have four meals a day that provide 25 grams (if you are on a 1200 calorie diet) to 35 grams (if you are on a 1500 calorie diet) of protein. You can choose high quality vegan and vegetarian protein powders, Greek yogurt, meat, fish, eggs, tofu and cereals or more protein fake cereals, such as spelled or quinoa. The important thing is that each of the 4 meals is basically protein.

SECOND STRATEGY

The second strategy to combine with the first is to do intermittent fasting twice a week for four weeks and intermittent fasting once a week for the following weeks. This means having your diet prepared by a good dietician or nutritionist, in order to foresee more caloric days and two days less caloric for the first four weeks, then only one. If you keep the two days of intermittent fasting associated with the first strategy, the loss of abdominal fat rises to 27%.
