Raw bars with superfoods: my review

Raw bars with superfoods: my review

The other day I robbed a shop of organic products which, just like in supermarkets, generally has the same habit of putting sweets and bars at the checkout, to entice them to buy. Of course, no child would throw a tantrum for raw chia seed or goji berry bars , while he can jump like a professional gymnast at the checkout counters of a normal supermarket, in front of packs of chips and kinder eggs. But in fact, the raw and vegan bars that you find at the checkout counters of organic shops are not stuff for children, they are all designed for you.A child would not understand why a bar with the following citations in the label “raw, paleo, gluten free, lactose free, eggs free, vegan” together with the words “protein bar” is tempting, where at least two definitions are pleonastic if the bar is already vegan, while an adult is fascinated and intrigued by the idea of being able to eat a snack that is undoubtedly healthy and very nutritious.

But will it be so? To find out, I looted a shop , spending twenty euros on various bars which, however, all had similar characteristics: all raw , or with raw foods (I didn’t do it on purpose), to leave their various properties intact; all with so-called superfoods (acai berries, spirulina algae, chia seeds, hemp seeds, goji berries, are the superfoods that are the most popular); and almost all of the same flavor . I swear to you that I could hardly tell them apart. Prana, Ambrosiae, Raw Bite, Simply Raw, Roo ‘Bar and Vivoo . These are the brands that I bought at the end of a long selection and tasted, and of which I inspected the labels.
