Protein and low-calorie dinner with veal with walnuts
Today I want to give you a small, high-protein, low-calorie fit recipe with its 329 calories per serving.
This is the veal with walnuts, which you can also cook in the almond variant. In place of veal, anyone who wants can use chicken breast, for the same quantity, or beef round . Calories are very similar.

VEAL WITH WALNUTS: PROTEIN AND HYPOCALORIC DINNER
Ingredients for one person
200 ml of skim milk
a small knob of butter
nutmeg, turmeric and pepper: a pinch
3 shelled and chopped walnuts
130 g of veal
a teaspoon of flour
salt to taste
Preparation: cut the meat into strips with the help of a kitchen scissors, in order to obtain pieces of 1 cm in width and 3 in length. Spread the pieces of meat on a sheet of parchment paper and sprinkle them quickly with pinches of flour, salt and pepper using your fingers.
In a non-stick pan, heat the knob of butter with a pinch of turmeric, pour the meat, sauté quickly for about a minute over medium heat, lower the heat and add the skimmed milk. Season with salt and pepper and cover with the lid, then cook for about 5-6 minutes over very low heat. Open the lid, and with a wooden spoon gently stir the veal until the mixture is creamy and the veal is cooked (about another 4-5 minutes).
Serve with the crumbled walnuts on top, accompanying the dish with spinach or bean sprouts cooked separately. If you want, you can garnish the dish with a little bit of balsamic vinegar in glaze, which creates a nice contrast with the delicate cream of the veal, or a sprinkle of parsley on the walnuts, or a little grated lemon zest.
